The Venue

The Venue for the 17th NAVC is the recently refurbished Sutton Bonington Campus of Nottingham University. 

The campus has been extensively modernised and new facilities built since the championships were last here.

Accommodation, projection and food facilities are all within a short walk.

Projection Venue

The Charnwood Room has a capacity for 120 people for the projection sessions.  Since we were last here, it has been fully refurbished and is equipped with air conditioning.  We will have a minimum of a 10 foot wide projection area with no headroom problems.

Accommodation

The newly built Costock Hall on the campus is arranged into 'flats', each with 4 - 5 en-suite bedrooms and a communal lounge / kitchen area.  There are single and a limited number of double rooms available all with en-suite bathroom facilities.  Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided for that all important morning cuppa!   Guests will be able to arrive and check in from 3.00pm on the Friday.

Food and Relaxing

Full English Breakfast (Self Service) and 3 course evening dinner (Served), will be taken in the restaurant.

A lighter, sandwich / buffet lunch will be provided.

The extensive bar will be available for relaxing, chatting and networking from 6.00pm until Midnight.

Directions to Sutton Bonington Campus LE12 5RD

Leave the M1 motorway at junction 24 and take the A6 into Kegworth. Fork left as you approach the village and proceed straight through the back of the village. Go over the River Bridge and TR, then over Railway Bridge and TR at cross roads. The campus is on your left, proceed to the West Entrance.

Security and Parking

Upon arrival at the West Entrance Security barrier, press the buzzer and tell Security you are 'RPS NAVC' and TL into the car park.

NAVC Registration

After parking please proceed to the NAVC Registration Desk in the Dining Room Foyer for your programme and name badge. Projection sessions start at 9.30am and 2.30pm prompt.
