Pre-selection
(See Rules section 10)
Every effort will be made to show all the sequences entered in the four projection sessions allocated. However the organisers reserve the right to manage the number of sequences shown as deemed necessary. Whereby sequence numbers must be reduced the organisers will undertake as appropriate either or both of the following actions:-
i) Reduce the entry to one sequence per author or co-author. Entrants are asked to prioritise their entries where more than one is submitted.
ii) Hold pre-selection by jury consisting of three people well know in the British AV field who will view and decide as appropriate on sequences entered. The organisers and pre-selection jury will not enter into dialogue with authors, nor give advice or reason for eliminating any sequence other than to advise of their decision. Entry fees will not be returned. The pre-selections jury’s decision is final and binding. Each member of the pre-selection jury is permitted to have one sequence automatically entered into the championships.
Should it be required, pre-selection will take place on Saturday 20th August 2011.
